Why choose Club Blanc for pilates in Harlow

Most pilates classes in and around Harlow run in leisure centres and village halls with twenty or thirty people on the floor. That works for some. It also means the instructor cannot see what your spine is doing, and you leave without knowing whether you did it right.

Club Blanc caps every class at three mats. It is a deliberate limit. Three people is small enough that Holly can give hands-on corrections throughout the hour, adapt exercises in real time, and track how you progress week to week.

What is mat pilates?

Mat pilates is a floor-based practice built around controlled movement, breath and alignment. There is no reformer machine and no equipment to learn. You work with your own body weight to build deep core strength, mobility and postural awareness.

It suits people who sit at a desk all day, people returning to movement after a break, and people who want strength work that does not batter their joints. Many find it helps with everyday stiffness and posture, though it is not a medical treatment.
